Biography

This is Victoria's 7th year teaching and her 6th at Terman Middle School. She has taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade social studies classes and is currently the Instructional Supervisor for the Social Studies Department at Terman. Victoria's classroom goals are to teach not only mandated curriculum, but study and life skills as well. Prior to teaching, Victoria practiced corporate and workers' compensation law.

Victoria received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She is an avid Cal fan, but appreciates the Stanford enthusiasm from many of her students. It certainly goes with teaching in Palo Alto! Her law degree is from Santa Clara University and she earned her California Teaching Credential from San Jose State University.

Outside of the classroom, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening and visual journaling. Victoria loves to travel and had the opportunity to visit Japan with the National Consortium on Teaching About Asia in July 2005. Below is a picture of Victoria peering from a small door within the large castle door in Iga Ueno.
